New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on February 18, 2021) follows:

Samsung has just announced that it will be bringing some powerful Camera features from the Samsung Galaxy S21 series to its older flagships such as the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Z series.

These features will be available to users through the One UI 3.1 update which debuted with the Galaxy S21 series and was released for the Galaxy Tab S7 series first.

The South Korean giant then rolled out the new skin to Samsung Galaxy S20 FE users in certain regions, however, pulled the update soon after due to bugs and issues. And it’s yet to be re-released.

That said, earlier today the company began seeding One UI 3.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series (not the S20 FE) in Korea as per a fresh report.

And well, it appears a bunch of other smartphones from the company are about to get the One UI 3.1 update as well starting from today.

This is because, in the footnotes of its announcement today, Samsung listed that a bunch of smartphones including the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series as well as some from the mid-range Galaxy A series will be getting the One UI 3.1 update from today.

One UI 3.1 is available starting from today on Galaxy S20 series, Note20 series, Z Fold2 and Z Flip, and the S10, Note10, and Fold, A71, A51, A90, A80, A70, and A50 devices. Availability may vary by region and carrier.

As mentioned, “Availability may vary by region and carrier.” Therefore, it’s not necessary that the update will start rolling out for your device right away.

Like with most Android updates, it may take a couple of days or even a few weeks before the new update goes live in some regions.

As usual, we’ll keep track of the rollout and will post an update once users start getting the new One UI 3.1 skin that’s based on Android 11.

Meanwhile, stay glued to our dedicated tracker since we’ll be seeing the One UI 3.1 update being rolled out in many regions for the Samsung Galaxy S10, Note 10, S20, Note 20, and other Galaxy A series devices too.
