Original story (published on February 01, 2021) follows:

Motorola recently started seeding the stable Android 11 update for the Motorola Moto G Pro in the United Kingdom making it the first phone from the company to get the latest Android version.

Apart from that, the Lenovo-owned smartphone maker is also soak testing Android 11 on the Motorola One Action, One Hyper, and One Vision as we reported a couple of days ago.

Now, it seems Motorola has begun the soak testing phase for yet another smartphone, this being the Motorola Moto G Power.

A senior member on the XDA forums who is also part of the Motorola Feedback Network (MFN) has confirmed receiving the Android 11 update on the Motorola Moto G Power as part of a soak test.

Just a glimmer of hope for you guys. I got the Android 11 update yesterday. I am part of the MFN, and was picked as part of the soak test. Android 11 definitely brings out the G power’s potential. Very smooth and fast. I feel like battery life has improved also.

The individual also shared a screenshot of the update page that we’ve added below:

Selected users who are part of the MFN are getting the update as version RPM31.Q1-46 which also carries the January security patch.

Since updates seeded to users as part of the soak testing phase are practically final builds, it’s highly likely that the stable Android 11 update for the Motorola Moto G Power will start rolling out soon.

Having said that, the company has not yet divulged any specifics regarding the availability of Android 11 for its devices. Hence, it’s anyone’s guess as to when the company will release Android 11 for any of the eligible models.
