OnePlus 8T PUBG Global Championship begins, more OnePlus-PUBG special events in coming months
OnePlus is a renowned name among Android OEMs across the globe and its flagship devices offer benchmark gaming capabilities.
One of the most played games on OnePlus devices is without a doubt PUBG Mobile and both vendors are now teaming up for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
The commencement of PUBG Mobile Global Championship was recently announced with OnePlus being the official device sponsor for the said event.
The OEM has also took to the OnePlus Community to announce the launch of the worldwide event which will be held between the best of 24 teams.
Also, it has been stated that the OEM will be associating with PUBG Mobile to bring some special events in the upcoming months.
Apart from that, OnePlus 8T has been deemed as the official device and it will be used during the PMGC finals.
The PMGC official league schedule is also provided by both vendors where this year’s events are lined up from November 24 to December 20.
It is unclear whether the said event will see India as a candidate as PUBG Mobile has not yet released in the country after a ban imposed by the Government of India.
However, a OnePlus staff member seems hopeful while replying to a couple of concerned Indian users which suggests that India might be a candidate in the PMGC but nothing is confirmed for now.
Moreover, the total prize pool for PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020-21 is $14,000,000 making it the highest in the history of mobile esports.
