Realme has been working on the Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update which will bring along a lot of new features and improvements.

However, there are some features that do not necessarily depend on major updates and can be pushed to devices independently. Among them, the Realme Cleaner and Antivirus feature.

The OEM recently held an OS Q&A with Devs session on the Realme Community where a bunch of user queries were addressed by Realme developers.

Since the Q&A was focused on privacy and security, users mostly raised their concerns about features that can make user privacy and security more efficient.

The availability of the new cleaner and antivirus feature was one of the most prominent queries and the Realme developer stated that the feature will be made available in Q4, 2020.

Hello! The goal is to make them available in Q4, 2020 as they are still under development.

The new cleaner and antivirus will be made available in Q4, 2020 if no delay occurs.

This means that Realme users will not have to rely on third-party apps to keep their devices secure as a native feature will keep user data intact.

Also, users demanded home screen unlock animations to which the developer stated that the feature was skipped for the time being for a smoother and faster user interface.

However, the developer also mentioned that they will consider adding unlocking animations in future Realme UI updates.

We have currently skipped this feature to make the system feel smoother and faster. We will consider.

Apart from this, another common concern was the uninstallation of pre-installed apps like Browser, Game Center, App market, etc.

For this, the developer stated that several apps are deeply integrated in the system, hence, uninstallation of system apps cannot be enabled.

Hello, such apps are deeply integrated in the smartphone system, hence why they cannot be uninstalled.

While it is not feasible for any OEM to accept every feature request, Realme has been doing a pretty fine job in acknowledging many user requests.
