[Correction] OnePlus 7T Pro/5G McLaren & OnePlus 7 get CarbonROM support; OnePlus 8 OxygenOS 11 update for India coming soon

Correction: This to inform our readers that the CarbonROM 8.0 is Android 10 based, not Android 11 based. So the devices listed in this article are getting Android 10 through CarbonROM 8.0 (not the Android 11, as it’s support is yet to release).

Google has recently released Android 11 and the latest OS update is reaching many devices in beta as well as stable version. It was recently reported that devices including the Verizon Google Pixel and OnePlus 8 series received the Android 11 stable and open beta updates respectively.

However, those of you who prefer custom ROMs over the stock firmware, there is some good news. Android 11 Android 10 support is now available with CarbonROM 8.0 for devices like OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7T Pro, OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.

CarbonROM is a renowned name when it comes to custom ROMs and with the Android 11-based Android 10-based CarbonROM 8.0, users can grab the latest OS from Google along with some amazing customization options. The official CarbonROM Blog now has the aforementioned devices in their CarbonROM 8 catalog.

While there is still some time before OnePlus releases the official Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update for the OnePlus 7 seires, the Open Beta is already available for the Global OnePlus 8 series devices.

However, the first Android 11 Open Beta update is not available for the Indian OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro variant but it seems that the OEM will be releasing the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta updates for the Indian variants soon.
