Samsung’s One UI has grown over the past few years to offer one of the most refined Android experiences we have today. It looks like Samsung has indeed learned a thing or two from creating bad Android skins after all huh.
The latest iteration of this skin, One UI 2.5, debuted with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 devices has been in the works for other eligible Samsung devices for a while now and today, it looks like the skin is finally ready for primetime, at least for the Galaxy S20 devices.
Within this past week, we have seen the Galaxy S20 series of devices bag the much-awaited update to One UI 2.5 in the EU, in the U.S through Verizon and T-Mobile, in the UK through EE and today, the update is rolling out to the Galaxy S20 in two more regions.
According to reports coming in, users of the Galaxy S20 in India and Korea are getting updated to One UI 2.5. This adds to the ever-growing list of devices that have been updated to this new skin from Samsung.
This update brings most of the features that we have come to expect from One UI 2.5, including better support for Dex, an improved Always-on-Display experience with support for Bitmoji stickers and a Pro Video Mode among many other features.
One UI 2.5 is still expected to roll out to more Samsung devices and we have been compiling a list of eligible devices. You can check it out here. This list comprises of recent flagship devices from Samsung and a few mid-rangers.
