Regular and timely security updates are the backbone of a safe, secure, and stable ecosystem. In the early years of smartphones, Android devices received a lot of bad press for their lackluster update pattern from their archnemesis, iOS devices.

In recent times, however, all this seems to have changed for the better as even OEMs with some of the heaviest custom skins are now able to push out regular and timely updates to their devices. Even Chinese OEMs have stepped up.

In the spirit of consistent update patterns and listening to consumer feedback, Realme is today rolling out an update to the Realme 2 Pro. This update, RMX1801EX_11_F.10, brings with it the August security patch and comes hot on the heels of the re-released Android 10-based Realme UI for this device.

Aside from bringing the August security patch level, this update also adds a few little features such as an OTG switch toggle while optimizing many more and fixing the touch screen issue faced by users. Below is the update’s full changelog.
