Xiaomi promised that the Poco F2 Pro MIUI 12 Global stable update will hit the device by July-end. The OEM has lived up to its word so far as the stable MIUI 12 update is already out for Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro users in Europe and Indonesia.

While the Redmi K30 Pro which is the Chinese variant of the Poco F2 Pro has also received this update, only global users were left behind.

Now, it appears that Xiaomi has fulfilled its promise. The Poco F2 Pro MIUI 12 Global stable update is rolling out. All the MIUI 12 goodies are included in this update and users around the globe can finally enjoy it. Check out the extensive changelog along with the download link.

The Android 11 beta update was also promised for the Poco F2 Pro. However, only the Chinese variant has bagged the update so far. But with the release of MIUI 12 Global stable update Xiaomi has proven itself to be trustworthy.

So, it’s safe to say that the Android 11 beta update for the Poco F2 Pro may still be on the cards. Also, the call recording feature was due to arrive in a future update. But it is not yet clear whether this update includes the feature or not.

Recent reports on the Mi Community suggest that the MIUI 12 update for the Global Poco F2 Pro has fiddled with the Widevine L1 support on the device. Screenshots show that the security level has now dropped L3 rather than L1. Check out all the details here.
