New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on July 22, 2020) follows:

The Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro 5G and the Redmi 10X 5G are pretty similar phones. Both devices pack in the MediaTek MT6875 Dimensity 820 5G SoC and released in China in June. Further, they both come with Android 10 along with MIUI 11 pre-loaded.

Needless to say, the Redmi 10X Pro 5G and the Redmi 10X 5G have been in line to receive the MIUI 12 update. Earlier today, we reported that the Redmi 10X 4G bagged the stable MIUI 12 update once again. Thus, the update was bound to arrive on the 5G variants soon.

Well, it seems the wait for the two devices to receive the latest skin is now over. The Redmi 10X Pro 5G and the 10X 5G are now receiving the stable MIUI 12 skin based on Android 10 in China.

Redmi-10X-Pro-5G

The update arrives as V12.0.2.0.QJLCNXM on the Redmi 10X Pro 5G which is up from version V11.0.5.0.QJLCNXM. For the Redmi 10X 5G, the software is rolling out as V12.0.2.0.QJHCNXM. The OTA package size for both smartphones is around 720MB.
