LG Escape Plus Android 10 update on Cricket Wireless rolling out

LG is is making sure that all its eligible devices get Android 10 update no matter how late. LG Escape Plus, the Cricket Wireless variant of LG K30 2019, is now getting the Android 10 update.

Cricket Wireless LG Escape Plus users can now upgrade their devices to Android 10. The update is being rolled out via OTA and brings to the May 2020 Android security patch the device.

LG Escape Plus LM-X320CM was released back in 2019 with Android 9 Pie out of the box. AT&T also updated its LG Escape Plus variant, the LG Arena 2 to Android 10 recently.

The mid-range smartphone packs some interesting specs and has finally received its due OS update with Android 10 based UX 9.0. The custom skin from LG offers a lot of handy features but users were still eager to get the Android 10 update.

Google’s Android 10 update brought many changes that made Android more user friendly. However, it is currently running on less than 10% of devices globally. With Android 11 just around the corner, it’s no good news that some devices are yet to receive Android 10 from their respective OEMs.

While Cricket Wireless has not yet updated their official software update tracker, the update announcement has been made by the service provider. Also, LG official has published an Android 10 user manual for LG Escape Plus from Cricket Wireless.

LG Escape Plus users can now be happy about the fact that their devices now have the latest software. However, some devices are yet to receive the UX 9.0 update from LG. You can check out our LG Android 10 (LG UX 9.0) update tracker here.
