NOTICE: We’ve created an archive of all major developments related to the Pocophone F1 smartphone. We are continuously updating that page with the latest Poco F1 news so that you don’t need to search for information related to the device on a daily basis. Head here to access that page.

The Pocophone F1 was deemed the best ‘flagship killer’ smartphone to be released in 2018. The device offered some of the best specifications for an insanely low price at the time. Moreover, Xiaomi or rather Poco is yet to offer a smartphone experience similar to that of the Pocophone F1.

Even the latest Poco M2 Pro isn’t off to a good start since the device’s launch was surrounded by privacy issues. Nonetheless, the Pocophone F1 and Poco M2 Pro both have one thing in common and that is both phones are one of the best in their respective price ranges.

The Pocophone F1 released with Android 8.1 and has since then picked up the Android 10 update. However, the device still has the year-old MIUI 11 skin running onboard. But as we reported earlier, the Pocophone F1 (Poco F1) will be receiving the MIUI 12 skin soon.

In the meantime, you can check out our MIUI 12 update tracker to know when it arrives on your Xiaomi device. With the Android 10 rollout underway, the company is also prepping to release Android 11.

We have created a list of Xiaomi devices that might receive Android 11. Moreover, the company also released the Android 11 beta version for the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.

Nonetheless, we will continue to track the situation and will post an update once the Pocophone F1 receives the MIUI 12 update.
