According to recent reports from Samsung Turkey, the stable Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update for Galaxy J4 and J8 will arrive somewhere in August and September 2020.

Interestingly, both the phones came with Android 8 Oreo out of the box, and whenever Android 10 rolls out, it would be the second major OS updates for the duo.

Samsung has a very clear update policy of pushing two major OS updates for its devices, and by the looks of it, both Galaxy J4 and J8 will soon get updated with Android 10.

As per Samsung Turkey, Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J8 Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update is under the testing phase, and the planned update date is set between August and September 2020.

A while ago in one of our earlier reports, we have highlighted that different models of Galaxy J8 including SM-J810F, SM-J810Y/DS, SM-J810Y, SM-J810M, SM-J810F/DS, SM-J810G/DS, SM-J810GF/DS, and SM-J810M/DS, were WFA certified running Android 10 OS.

This gave us a sign that the stable Android 10 update is right around the corner. However, now with the recent report from Samsung Turkey, we can now hope for the update to arrive soon.

As far as One UI 2.0 is concerned, it packs in new features like new navigation gestures, built-in screen recorder, improved face recognition, revamped UI, camera UI changes, new animations, dark mode, redesigned volume controls, and much more.
