OPPO R15x & OPPO K1 Android 10 (ColorOS 7) beta update early bird recruitment program kick starts
Grab your Oppo R15x and Oppo K1 smartphones, because the Chinese OEM has commenced Android 10 (ColorOS 7) beta update early bird recruitment for both units.
As you would expect from a Chinese OEM, this Oppo R15x and Oppo K1 Android 10 beta program is currently live for users in China and is expected to make its way to other regions soon.
Previously, in one of our reports, we have highlighted that Oppo confirmed the commencement of the Android 10 (ColorOS 7) early adopters program from June 29 for both Oppo R15x and K1. And it seems like the company had no plans of delaying this, as the program kick starts right on time.
Taking a look at the official post, we get to know that a quota of 5,000 is set in total for both Oppo R15x and Oppo K1 users. Users are required to be running version C.62 in order to be eligible for this early bird recruitment for both units.
Those who have successfully registered with this early bird program will be receiving the beta update on their devices within 3 days (before July 2).
Although the OEM joined late, Oppo has taken this task of updating its eligible phones to Android 10 very seriously and in the recent past has served a bunch of phones with Android 10 (ColorOS 7). For a complete list, you can head here.
As far as the latest Android 11 update is concerned, Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro have already grabbed Android 11 Beta 1 update with ColorOS 7.2. For our complete coverage, you can head here.
Talking about Android 11, as per our Oppo Android 11 eligible devices list, both Oppo R15x and K1 are missing from the list. But we would advise our readers to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt as it is not an official word from OPPO.
