      Redmi K30 5G MIUI 12 update begins rolling out in stable version (Download link inside)

      For Xiaomi users, new versions of MIUI are way more exciting that new versions of Android as these MIUI updates often come packed with new features and new UI changes. Usually more changes than new versions of Android bring. Redmi K30 5G users are in for a treat as MIUI 12 is rolling out to their device.

      MIUI 12 has been in the works for a while now and the company has already shared a timeline on how it plans to roll out the new skin to its devices.

      Well, Redmi K30 5G users are in luck as Xiaomi is rolling out MIUI 12 to their device. This build of MIUI 12 is stable and should be hitting eligible devices pretty soon.

      This MIUI 12 stable update can be identified by the software version number V12.0.1.0.QGICNXM, up from version V11.1.25.0.QGICNXM. For users on the latest MIUI 11, the OTA file size is 759MB.

      The MIUI 12 update for Redmi K30 5G is pretty comprehensive and should radically transform the device’s UI and add a bunch of new features while optimizing many of the existing features. The update’s changelog is just as extensive, as shown below.

      New: You can minimize a floating window using a full screen gesture.
      New: You can open an app in a floating window directly from Recents.
      Optimization: Press and hold an app preview in Recents to choose between Split screen and floating windows.
      AI Call Assistant
      New: Mi AI can answer your calls now!
      New: You can record a customized greeting that will be played to the other person during AI calls.
      New: Customized greetings are also supported for outgoing calls.
      Xiaomi Health
      New: All-new Xiaomi Health gives you more options and makes your health stats more accurate.
      New: Put your device next to you before falling asleep to analyze your sleep cycle and record talking and snoring.
      New: You can sync data with supported wearable and smart home devices.
      New: Xiaomi Health can remind you to stand up and move when it detects that you’ve been sitting down for too long.
      New: The app also analyzes your stats and gives you simple health advice.
      New: Our new low-power consumption AI algorithm allows you to count steps and track workouts whenever your device is with you.
      Control center
      New: Swipe down from the upper right corner of your screen to open Control center.
      New: Animated icons are a joy to look at!
      Optimization: Control center is now closed by incoming calls

      Fix: Brightness adjustment bar couldn’t be used when the Control Center was opened for the first time
