Pokemon Go : Players getting strikes & bans for no reason issue officially acknowledged
Pokemon Go is the most successful augmented reality game. It was released in 2016 & since then the popularity of the game is steady. Pokemon Go made $1.4 billion for Niantic in 2019. Well, these numbers automatically define the success of the game.
However, the credit for success goes both to players & Niantic. The company kept introducing new & interesting features from time to time which was loved by players & it continued to grow. Last year, we saw the addition of GO Rocket League & this year we saw the addition of GO Battle League.
However, GO Battle League is currently disabled by Niantic due to an exploit. It was allowing cheaters to generate more energy & use charge moves extremely fast. By using this exploit, cheaters were winning every battle & started to rank top on the leaderboard.
Well, if you have also received a strike in the last couple of days, fret not, as Niantic has officially acknowledged the issue & currently trying to resolve it. Have a look at the official statement from Niantic down below.
Rest assured, we are keeping a track of all the developments regarding this matter & will update you with more information whenever it arrives. We certainly hope, the problem will resolve soon as many players are affected by this & unable to play the game.
In related news, Pokemon Go will not support 32-bit Android devices start from August 2020. This step has been taken by Niantic to streamline development process and focus resources on supporting newer operating systems and technologies.
