CS:GO (Counter-Strike Global Offensive) freezing, lagging & crashing for players after latest update
Counter-Strike Global Offensive is one of the most popular shooting games, and it is was released in 2012. It was the fourth installment in the Counter-Strike series. Since it’s release, it has been running strong & received many updates over the span of 8 years.
In the latest update for the game, developers added a new communication setting to the game & it is called Text Filtering. We have often observed many players use offensive & curse words in gaming chats. This step has been taken by developers to address that issue.
If this setting will be enabled, it will clean up offensive UGC within the game chat. It will be enabled by default, but yes players can change it from the settings. It will block all profane words in the text chat, if it is enabled.
This new communication setting by devs has received mixed reviews from players. Apart from this, players are desperately waiting for the arrival of Source 2. Earlier reports suggested that it will release on May 18, 2020. Well, it has not been out yet, seems like we have to wait for a bit longer.
Cut to now, many Counter-Strike Global Offensive players are currently experiencing issues with the game. For many, the game is constantly freezing, lagging & crashing after the recent update. They have taken the route of Reddit to express their concerns. Have a look at it down below.
Developers have not addressed the issue yet, but we certainly hope it will be fixed soon as many players are currently troubled by this. Rest assured, we are keeping a tab on all the developments & will update you with more information whenever it arrives.
