This step is not first of a kind, and previously we have reported that the MIUI 12 beta updates have been halted for 3 weeks for devices like Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro.

Not only this, but Xiaomi has also paused the MIUI 12 beta updates for the Xiaomi Mi CC9e and Redmi Note 8 stating that both the devices are adapting to Android 10, as the reason for it.

Now it will be interesting to see how this goes down with users of the Redmi Note 7, Mi 9 Lite, and Mi 10 Lite who were eagerly waiting to experience the MIUI 12 features on their phones.

After all of these decisions, we will have to wait and watch whether this also affects the actual stable rollout plans because the beta updates are now delayed further and there is no ETA as to when it will resume.
