Well, well, well. If we go by the recent user reports, it seems like the Android 10 based One UI 2.1 update is rolling out for some of the users of the Samsung Galaxy A51.
We all know that Samsung’s latest iteration of its custom UI, the One UI 2.1 saw the light of the day with the launch of Galaxy S20 series and in fact, the Galaxy S20 devices came with One UI 2.1 out of the box.
This peaked the excitements of the Samsung users, as they were also waiting for the update to land on their units. However, the process was simple, and the One UI 2.1 update was rolling out to the devices that have already picked up the Android 10 update.
Talk about new features that this One UI 2.1 brings for the devices, there is a lot to talk about, For starters, it brings cleaned up users interface, smoother animations, Quick Share, Music Share, Live caption, AR Zone, several improvements in the camera UI, etc.
And latest reports suggest that all these features have been pushed as One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy A51 as well. Moreover, the company has also bundled the April security patch along with One UI 2.1.
Notably, Galaxy A51 came out in late 2019 with Android 10 out of the box, and it was about time for the device to pick up the OEMs latest version of the One UI.
As per the reports, the update arrives with version number BTD4 and weighs in around 1.26 GB in size. As expected the update packs in all the One UI 2.1 latest features for the Galaxy A51.
Another report also suggests that this One UI 2.1 update is rolled out for limited users, as of now. However, a wider rollout is expected gradually.
Besides, the update seems to be live for users of the Galaxy A51 in regions like Kenya, Russia, Morocco, Turkey, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
So, users should expect the One UI 2.1 update anytime to arrive on their Samsung Galaxy A51 units, as the update has been rolled out in batches via OTA and will take some time in reaching all the regions.
