New update alert: Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite, Verizon Motorola Edge+, Moto G6, LG K51 & Samsung Galaxy A50, LG X4 2019 & LG Velvet

Fresh updates are up for grabs for different Android devices. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is picking the May patch and the June updates are being pushed to the LG X4 2019 and LG Velvet.

Verizon has pushed the new patches to Motorola Moto G6 (firmware updated), while Motorola Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy A50 are receiving the brand new June OTA. LG K51 on the Verizon network is getting the not-so-new April patch. Let’s take a look at the details.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite

Xiaomi has rolled out the May security update to Mi Note 10 Lite. The version number for this update is V11.0.4.0.QFNMIXM. You may head here to download.

Verizon Updates

Verizon has also issued updates to some of the Android devices. Let’s take a thorough look.

Motorola Moto G6

Firstly, a firmware update has been released to Motorola Moto G6. The update carries version PDS29.118-15-11-14 that increases the security and stability of the device. It also comes with bug fixes and it also adds changes to address some call filter issues.


Includes changes to address some Call Filter app issues, like Caller ID info not being shown for missed calls, mobile number displayed twice for international calls, and number not displayed for incoming calls.

Motorlola Edge+

The latest June OTA is pushed to Motorola Edge+ devices on Verizon. It gets upgraded to version QPB30.188-48. The update brings camera improvement, display improvement, and it also applies the June security patch to increase security.

Samsung Galaxy A50 is also getting the newest June OTA with version QP1A.190711.020.A505USQS6BTE3. The update brings bug fixes, increased stability and security of the device.

This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues, and apply the latest security patches.

LG K51

Verizon has pushed the not-so-current April OTA to the LG K51 devices. The update optimizes the performance of the device, resolves the known issues, and increase the security of the device. It hits as version K500UM10c.

LG X4 2019

The June update is issued to LG X4 2019 (Korea variants). The update brings along many optimizations such as improved emergency disaster text reception, improved battery performance, and also increase the security of the device. The build number for this update is X420N20k.

The changelog reads as follows:

-Emergency disaster text reception function has been improved.
-The phenomenon that the battery is quickly consumed in a specific usage environment has been improved.
-Your phone security has been enhanced with regular Google security updates.


At last, we have LG VELVET (Korean variants) also grabbing the June OTA that arrives with version G900N10k. The update adds day by day settings, improves camera quality, and also increases security by applying the latest Google security patches.

Here’s the changelog:


-Day-by-day setting has been added to the automatic restart function of the mobile phone.
-Improved the phenomenon that wallpaper for night mode is not applied to some screens in night mode.
-Improved camera quality in night or indoor low light situations.
-Your phone security has been enhanced with regular Google security updates.
