Call of Duty fans can rejoice as a new release date for the upcoming season of Modern Warfare & Warzone has been leaked by a data miner. The new season for the game was delayed due to ongoing protests which took place over the death of George Floyd.

Well, a lot of events have been postponed amid these protests including the reveal of PlayStation 5. But one of the most prominent Call of Duty leaker, TheMW2Ghost, has leaked the release date for the upcoming Season 4.

TheMW2Ghost has unraveled the game files & has found the code which suggests that Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 will release on June 10, 2020, at 6 am UTC. Have a look at the tweet below from his official handle which confirms the same.

In PST time, it will be June 9 at 23:00. Well, we can take this leak positively as another popular Call of Duty data miner with the twitter name, ModernWarzone, has said that they can give “99% verifiable confirmation that the release of the next season will take place on June 9.

He further stated that this information is directly from the files, and has been verified through multiple sources. But we should only take these leaks with a pinch of salt until Infinity Ward officially announces it.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 is expected to bring a lot of new content to the game. Players will be introduced with a new Sniper rifle, Rytek AMR, in the upcoming season. Akimbo Blades are also expected to arrive in Season 4.

The new season will also add a fan-favorite character Captain Price ro the game. It is an iconic character from the original Call of Duty game. Coming onto to Call of Duty Warzone, it is expected to get flooded & we can expect some major map changes.
