Animal Crossing New Horizons was released on March 20, 2020, & since then the game is going strong. The game sold 5 million digital copies in its first month & broke the console game record for most digital units sold in a single month.

However, the game is only available on the Nintendo Switch platform. Today, a new update for the game rolled out & it came along with version 1.2.1. According to the official patch notes, it has addressed issues to make the game more enjoyable.

Players are required to install the update in order to play the game. If the game doesn’t update automatically, you can do it manually by going over the game icon & pressing the Plus button & selecting Software update.
