Are you facing issues accessing TD Ameritrade website and app? Well, if yes, then you should know you are not alone. We’re seeing a lot of similar reports from users on social media platforms like Twitter. Take a look:

This issue has been there for almost an hour now, and it’s now that we’re seeing the online broker’s social media channels acknowledging the problem. The good news is, there’s a workaround while the problem is being worked on.

Clients may be experiencing sporadic website issues. Please try logging out and back into the account to reset your platform. We are working to resolve this as we speak

So here you go, the issue is already being worked on, and the company has also shared a workaround which you can try out meanwhile. We’ll update the story as and when there’s any newsworthy development on the matter.

Update 1 (January 02, 2020)

We’re now seeing multiple user reports that say the problem has been fixed.

Update 2 (May 22, 2020)

The service is down again. Here’s what the TD Ameritrade support has said on Twitter:

We apologize for the outage and are working to correct the situation. Our TOS app seems to be working again but there still may be issues with the TD Ameritrade Mobile app. Our full desktop is still available if needed. We appreciate your patience

Update 3 (October 30, 2021)

The online broker is down and not working again as clients are facing issues with the website and mobile application. Many individuals took to Twitter to report the problem.

Fortunately, TD Ameritrade confirmed that they’re aware of the situation and are working to fix it. The confirmation, however, does not come with an ETA for a resolution.

We’re aware of an issue with access to http://TDAmeritrade.com and our mobile app. Clients may have difficulty reaching us by phone or experience longer wait times. We’re working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience. (Source)

Update 4 (November 01, 2021)

Now TD Ameritrade has come out to note that the issue has since been resolved and account data has been updated.

Update 5 (November 03, 2021)

TD Ameritrade support, yet again, confirmed that the issues with the service have been resolved and is advising users to reach out to support via the phone in case they still can’t log in.
