      New update alert: Xiaomi Mi Max 3, Redmi Go, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi Note 9, Mi Note 10, Nokia 4.2, Realme 6, HTC U11 & Honor 8A

      Here we’re back again with the latest phone updates. The list goes with Xiaomi Mi Max 3, Honor 8A, are getting the April Patch, however Redmi Note 6 Pro, Mi Note 10, Nokia 4.2, Realme 6 are picking up the May OTA. HTC U11 is getting March Update and Redmi Go is picking the firmware update.

      Below is a concise overview of the updates for the devices listed.

      Xiaomi Mi Max 3

      Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is getting the April update with better security for the device. This comes with the V11.0.2.0.QEDMIXM version. If you didn’t get it via OTA you can download it from here.

      Redmi Go

      Redmi Go devices are receiving the firmware update as V10.2.18.0. This upgrade would increase the device speed as well as device efficiency.

      Redmi Note 6 Pro & Redmi Note 9 (Global)

      The May security patch is released for the Redmi 6 Pro & Redmi Note 9 devices both of which arrive with the improved system security.

      Redmi Note 6 Pro
      The version number for this update is V11.0.4.0.PEKMIXM. You can simply download it from the link here.

      Redmi Note 9

      The May OTA for Redmi Note 9 comes with the edition V11.0.3.0.QJOEUXM.

      Changelog: Updated Android Security Patch to May 2020. Increased system security.

      Xiaomi Mi Note 10

      Also getting the May security update is the Mi Note 10. The upgrade comes with bug fixes and should boost system performance. The OTA comes with the version V11.1.2.0, and here is the download link.

      Nokia 4.2

      Even Nokia has gone on with the monthly security for Nokia 4.2, which is getting May patch.

      Realme 6

      For its users, Realme has issued the May OTA. This update comes with fixes to the bug. With the introduction of this update, the green screen and the automated restart problem should be resolved. It comes with the version number RMX2001_11.B.31 and is sized 186MB.

      This is a phased release, and you can grab it from here if you haven’t received it yet.

      Honor 8A

      The April security patch for Honor 8A (2019) has been issued. Users are waiting on this device for EMUI 10, but they have to settle with this OTA for now. Bearing build number 9.1.0.291, this update is 113 MB in size. Source

      HTC U11

      HTC has entered the chase with the release of the monthly OTA (March patch) for their HTC U11 (US unlocked). The users have been waiting a long time for the monthly update. The security patch is arriving with bug fixes and device enhancements. The version number is 3.37.617.2 and it’s 131.05 MB in size.

      The above-mentioned devices are receiving the monthly patches today. We’ll keep you in loop for more.
