When it comes to the development of augmented reality mobile games, Niantic Studios is one of the best in the world. The company has extended the Pokemon & Harry Potter franchise to the augmented world with its games, Pokemon Go & Wizards Unite

Pokemon Go was launched in 2016 & since then it has been running strong. The game has a huge community worldwide & the credit for the success of the game goes both to Niantic & players. The success of the game can be inferred by the amount of revenue it generated for Niantic.

Pokemon Go made $4 billion for Niantic in the year 2019. Developers constantly added interesting events from time to time, which kept players lured to the game. Currently, the Pokemon Go Buddy Up event is live in the game.

The event started on April 21 at 8 am & will stay live until April 27, 2020, at 10 am in your local time zone. Bonuses that are featured under this event includes the following : Decreased walking distance for earning Buddy Candy and hearts with your buddy. If you’re a dedicated Trainer, you may even get more items and Souvenirs from your buddy.

Cut to now, since the update 0.173.0, Pokemon Go Plus & Pokeball Plus owners were having a hard time as it was not connecting with the game. Got-cha owners were also facing a similar issue.

Well, there is good news for Pokemon Go Plus & Pokeball owners as this issue has been resolved with the update 0.173.2. This information has been confirmed on the Pokemon Go official blog. Have a look at the screenshot for the same down below.

Apart from this, an issue with Private Raid lobby is still under investigation, which is currently troubling players. The issue description says the following : The number of Trainers in a private Raid Lobby is shown on the screen from which Trainers can join a Raid. Well, we are keeping a close tab on the buildups & will update you with more information whenever it arrives.

02:22 pm (IST): According to reports (1, 2, 3), Pokemon Go Plus is currently not working for some players. As a result, they are unable to catch a pokemon or preferences are automatically changing.

09:16 am (IST): The issue where Pokemon Go Plus is not working as intended is still present according to reports (1, 2). So, users should avoid paying for it until it is fixed.
