If you own a Sony Xperia 1, Xperia 5, Sony Xperia XZ3 or the Xperia XZ2, then there a new security update available for the units.

Notably, Sony, which lags behind in rolling out timely security updates, is pushing the latest April security patchset for the before-mentioned Xperia devices.

Keep in mind that the Xperia 1, Xperia 5, Xperia XZ3 and Xz2 have already grabbed the Android 10 updates. Talking about the latest security updates, as per reports, the flagships Xperia 1 and 5 are getting the update with version number V55.1.A.3.149 and it weighs in around 145 MB in size.

On the other hand, the Xperia XZ3 and XZ2 series (that includes Xperia XZ2, XZ2 Compact, XZ2 Premium) are picking update the OTA with version V52.1.A.0.672  and it weighs in around 127 MB in size.

In another turn of events, Hong Kong-based Tecno Mobile has also pushed the Android 10 update for its Tecno Spark 3 Pro. Just to recall, the Tecno Spark 3 was launched back in April 2019 and is a budget phone.

Diving into specs, it sports, 3,500 mAh battery, 2 GB RAM and is powered by the Helio A22 processor. Interestingly, Tecno previously released Android 10 (Android Q) for the Spark 3 Pro handset back in May 2019 as part of Google’s public beta testing program.

Notably, the Realme 3 Pro was also one of the participants of this beta testing program. However, the Tecno Spark 3 Pro never got the Android 10 update. Eventually Tecno, later released the update to a limited set of 2,000 users in late 2019.

Those who have already received the Android 10 OTA are getting a smaller sized update, while those coming from Android Pie are getting a bigger OTA package of over 1GB with version number KB8-H624BNPQ-Q-200317V757. Notably, both updates include the March 2020 security patch.

If you have not yet received the update, head over to Settings and System updates to check for it manually and upgrade your phone right away by tapping on the update notification.
