One Piece 977 is just a few days away. Before the spoilers arrive, it’s time for fans to be creative with their own predictions. Although Eiichiro Oda makes it almost impossible to predict his ideas, some fan predictions actually come true or close to what happens in the story.

With the astounding popularity of the previous chapter due to the appearance of Jinbei, predictions for the upcoming chapter focuses on him as well. However, almost nobody guessed his arrival in the previous chapter. So things can not always be the way we expect them to be.

So, here are some of the most prominent predictions about Jinbei in the upcoming chapter.

How Jinbei escaped from Totto Land

This is one of the biggest questions. The last time we saw Jinbei, he decided to remain in Totto Land to assist his former crew escape. So the fact that he managed to arrive in Wano means he was successful. However, there are other possibilities. Here are some of them:

  • Jinbei was captured while letting his crew escape the Big Mom pirates. As some people believe, Katakuri helped him escape Totto Land as soon as Big Mom left for Wano.
  • Jinbei was captured and was taken by Big Mom with her to Wano to lure Luffy out. This is also highly possible since Big Mom uses her enemies’ loved ones to her advantage. When Big Mom was separated from his crew, Jinbei managed to escape. However, there is little evidence to support this.
  • Third scenario, which is probably the most difficult, but still a possibility, is that Jinbei and his crew managed to escape with several casualties. Jinbei would then take some time to heal his wounds and make the trip to Wano.
