As we are one day away from the mid-season finale of Haikyu!! To The Top, the makers have just released a special preview video that takes us into episode 13. This will be the last episode before the show goes on a break to return with season 4 part 1 on July 2, 2020.

Episode 13 is titled ‘The Second Day’ and going by the preview visuals it will be one hell of a ride for the fans. The sneak peek shows us how the Volleyball team from Karasuno is revved up to go against the Inarizaki team.

We are also given an introduction to the key members of the Inarizaki High Volleyball team like Miya Osamu, and his twin brother Miya Atsumu. The PV was announced by Haikyu!!’s official handle on Twitter and the video is currently streaming on Toho’s animation’s YouTube Channel.

The upcoming episode is supposed to be based on the chapter ‘Day 2’ from the original manga ‘Haikyuu!!’ According to the chapter overview, we can guess that the upcoming episode would pick up from the night before the day of the nationals. Earlier the makers also shared several stills from the episode.

In the previous episode titled ‘Vivid’ we had seen how the first day of the Spring Tournament goes for the boys. Karasuno had won their match and were advancing to the second round of the Spring Tournament.

The Fukurōdani team hit a snag in their game when Bokuto fell into a depressed state and Akaashi did what he could to bring the ace back to top form.

Haikyu!! is produced by Production I.G and its English translated episodes are available on Crunchyroll. The second half of season 4 is scheduled for a July 2020 release. The current opening theme is “Phoenix” by Burnout Syndromes and the ending theme is “Kessen Spirit” by CHiCO with HoneyWorks.

Episode 13 ‘The Second Day’ is scheduled to release at 1.25 pm in Japan on MBS and TBS stations, while season 4 part 2 from episode 14 will start airing from July 2, 2020.
