One-Punch Man manga artist Yusuke Murata has often been kind to fans in releasing his original artwork, and even experimenting with a few of his regular characters and art. Now that everyone is maintaining social distancing to prevent Coronavirus (COVOID-19) from spreading, what better time to share them with manga art lovers?

He recently released a breathtaking ballpoint pen artwork of the character Genos from the series on twitter, and fans can’t get enough of it. It got over 10K likes within a few hours of going live, and fans hoped sensei would release a full One Punch-Man artbook sometime soon.

The illustration shows Genos looking pensive in his full-bodied suit, and many fans wondered if the art features in any of the upcoming volumes or not. Genos is the second key character from the manga One-Punch Man that is currently being serialized in Weekly Young Jump magazine.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, Yusuke Murata is the key artist behind mangaka One’s famous One-Punch Man series, known for its fourth-wall-breaking story and powerful art. He is also known for his artwork in popular sports manga Eyeshield 21, which based on American football.

Murata sensei has been pretty active online lately, regularly sharing his own works, or retweeting out updates from the series. He recently cheered fans up by promising to release the upcoming chapter/volume of One-Punch Man by early this week on twitter.

One Punch Man will be updated this week again at the beginning of the week. Please wait for a while.

One-Punch Man manga comes out bi-weekly in English on Viz Media through the Shonen Jump digital app and website. The series is currently on its longest singular arc to date, resulting in frustration and impatience from many fans. Thus Murata sensei’s assurance comes at an ideal time.
