Good news for those of you looking forward to the world premiere of anime Appare Ranman! If you happen to be from France and/or subscribed to Wakanim streaming service you can catch the show from today!

The simulcasting platform Wakanim is offering an exclusive premiere of Appare Ranman! from March 27 onwards, according to their official Twitter handle.

You can catch the first two episodes at 5 PM today. Yes, that is two weeks before anyone else gets to see it. In Japan, special pre-screenings of episodes 1 and 2 will air on Abema TV at 10.30 pm, and 11.30 pm respectively.

Wakanim is a streaming platform primarily based in France that allows anime lovers to legally watch new anime episodes the day they are released on Japanese networks. It also provides French subtitles and dubbed episodes.

For the rest of the world, P. A Works’ Appare Ranman! is due for a Spring 2020 release on April 10. It will launch across Japanese network Tokyo MX, AT-X, Kitanihon Broadcasting, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11. The English-translated episodes will be available on Funimation, along with the English dubbed ones.

Appare Ranman! is one of the most anticipated releases this Spring Anime 2020 season. Earlier, Funimation had released its English-translated trailer along with Japanese voice cast.

Set in the late 19th century, it follows the ‘wild-wild-west’ adventures the quirky duo – the genius engineer Sorano Appare and the not-so-brave samurai Isshiki Kosame – who somehow get stranded in Los Angeles.

They eventually end up entering the Trans-America Wild Race to win the prize money as sustenance to get home. And there starts their adventure. As you may have guessed, this Swashbuckler-style anime show is expected to be heavily steeped in western pirate adventure references and in aesthetics.
