It’s update time! Users of the iPhone, iPad, OnePlus 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Realme Band, Redmi 8, Note 9S, Note 8 and 8T rejoice, as there are new updates available for you to download.

Starting off with the iOS update, Apple has released the iOS 13.4 update for iPhone and iPadOS 13.4 for the iPads. While Razer Phone 2, Redmi 8 and US carrier T-Mobile’s OnePlus 7 Pro,  are getting the March security patchset.

While the Redmi Note 9S, Realme Band and Redmi Note 8 and 8T are getting optimization and bugfix updates. Let us take a look at the updates, one by one:

iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.4

Apple has finally pushed the official iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 that brings a huge array of new features and enhancements for the users. Moreover, it is available for all the iOS 13 devices (iPhone 6s and above).

Matter of fact, Apple has moved the iPad users to a new operating system with the release of the iPadOS 13.4. Check out all the features, that the iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 brings in for the devices:

Known Issues
– To install iOS 13.4 using the Restore Image, first install Xcode 11.4.

New Features
– QuickType Keyboard now supports predictive input for Arabic.
– QuickType Keyboard now supports Live Conversion for Japanese and Chinese (Zhuyin).
– QuickType Keyboard now supports Swiss German layout for 12.9-inch iPad layout.

Resolved Issues
– 12.9-inch iPad layouts for several languages now match the hardware keyboard layouts.

Location Services
New Features
– When an app requests Always authorization for the first time after having previously been authorized for While Using the App, the device immediately presents the location authorization prompt. (57106235)

New Features
– New keyboard shortcuts are available in Photos on iPadOS, which create quick navigation between Tabs, Search, and Create Albums. While in full screen mode, you can also delete, duplicate, and enter Edit mode using a keyboard. (57195967)

Known Issues
– After updating to iOS & iPadOS 13.4, you won’t be able to synchronize scenes with peers using earlier versions of RealityKit, due to a fundamental change in the physics system. If two peers running a MultipeerConnectivityService have incompatible versions, they will remain connected in the underlying MCSession, but won’t synchronize scenes. iOS & iPadOS 13.4 adds a new NetworkCompatibilityToken class so a host can avoid inviting incompatible clients to its MCSession. T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro

The US carries network T-Mobile has started delivering the March 2020 security update live for the OnePlus 7 Pro users. The airborne update is hitting the units with the OxygenOS version 10.0.3.GM31CB.

The software update includes the following:

Redmi Note 7

A new March security update is live for the Redmi Note 7 units currently spotted in India. The update weighs in around 696 MB and brings new features like app vault and app lock for the devices.

Xiaomi which recently launched the Redmi Note 9S (known as Redmi Note 9 Pro in India) globally, has made the first firmware update available for the device.

The OTA arrives with the version V11.0.1.0.QJWMIXM and brings in optimization for the device fix for the system lag.

The Redmi Note 8 has picked up the update with version V11.0.8.0.PCOMIXM and Redmi Note 8T is getting the update with version V11.0.7.0.PCXEUXM.

Realme Band

The smart band from Realme, i.e. the Realme Band is also getting a new V4.0 that brings in new features like restart function, notifications are displayed for a longer duration of time, optimize heart rate and more.
