New updates are lined for a new set of devices. Notably, the US carrier network, Verizon has pushed March 2020 update for Samsung S9/S9+, S20/S20+ 5G, S20 Ultra 5G, LG Zone 4 and Motorola Moto 5G.

T-Mobile Galaxy S9 and S9+ have also picked up the March 2020 security update. Xiaomi has also pushed the March patchset for its budget phone, the Redmi Go.

Huawei has also made a new EMUI 10 optimization update live for the Mate 30 series that brings in network and system improvements for the 30 series handsets. Let us take a look at the updates, one by one:

Verizon Galaxy S9 and S9+

The OTA for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ comes with version numbers DTB1 and CSJ9 respectively. Check out the changelog below for both the Galaxy S9 and S9+.

– The current software update provides the most up to date Android security patches on your device.

Note that apparently, there is a typo error with the Android security patch level mentioned for the Galaxy S9 (pic on the left). It mentions November 2019 patch, but taking a look at the previous update, it was February 2020 patch. So, this should be March OTA.

Verizon Galaxy S20+ 5G and S20 Ultra 5G

The Verizon variants of the recently launched flagships from Samsung, the Galaxy S20+ 5G and S20 Ultra 5G are also getting the March 2020 update.

The March update is arriving with the version number ATCH and along with the security patch, it improves the camera performance of the device along with some system enhancements.

What’s changing:
The current software update provides system enhancements and improves camera performance on your device.

Verizon LG Zone 4

LG launched the LG Zone 4 back in 2018 and the lower mid-range phone’s Verizon variant has picked up the March 2020 update. The airborne update arrives with the version X210VPP14c.

Verizon Moto 5G

The Verizon model of the Motorola Moto 5G has also picked up the March 2020 security update. It arrives with the version number PPZ29.302-2 and improves the performance of the phone.

T-Mobile Galaxy S9 and S9+

Another major US carrier network, T-Mobile has pushed the March 2020 security patchset for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. The update arrives with the version number DTB1 and weighs in around 166.70 MB in size.

Xiaomi Redmi Go

Xiaomi has also announced the March 2020 security update for the Redmi Go phone. The global variant of the phone is getting the security update with version V10.2.17.0.OCLMIXM and is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

A new optimization update is available for download for the Huawei Mate 30 series phones. This new OTA brings network and system improvements.
