Some new updates are available for a bunch of devices from various OEMs. Notably, Redmi 6A, Redmi 7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A are now getting the March 2020 update.

On the other hand, the January patch is up for the Huawei Mate 20 X (4G) and the December patch is available for Mi 8 Explorer. While the Mi MIX 2 is grabbing a new bugfix update.

Redmi 6A

The global variant of the Redmi 6A is now being served with the March 2020 update. It also brings along revamped start page, app lock feature and other optimizations for the phone.

The OTA is arriving with version number V11.0.7.0.PCBMIXM and is based on Android 9 Pie. Here is the complete changelog of the update:

While smartphone OEMs are finding it difficult to update their smartphones, Samsung is now pushing the March 2020 security patch for the Galaxy Tab A.

The OTA is arriving with the version number ATB2 and weighs in around 152.41 MB in size. It is purely incremental in nature and just bumps the security patch level to March 2020.

Redmi 7

The Russian variant of the Redmi 7 is getting the March security update that bumps the version number from V11.0.3.0.PFLRUXM to V11.0.5.0.PFLRUXM.

The update brings the same changes as the changelog mentioned for the Redmi 6A above. You can grab the download package file from below:

Mi 8 Explorer

The Chinese variant of the Mi 8 Explorer is getting the December 2019 security patch along with the stable MIUI based on Android 10. The update also brings in some bug fixes for notification settings, screenshots and more.
