There is no official response from Activision or Infinity Ward on this particular matter yet, but we certainly hope, developers will resolve this issue at the earliest. However, a general guide to resolve crashes, has been published on Activision for PS4, Xbox One & PC which you can read below.
When the game freezes, you will need to quit the game and close the application, and then restart the game. In some instances, you might also need to reboot your console. If the game crashes, you will typically get kicked to the dashboard where you can simply restart the game.
When a game crashes on PlayStation 4, you will normally get sent to the PlayStation 4 dashboard and receive one of the following error messages:
Error code CE-34878-0
An error has occurred with an application or system software.
If you receive either of these error messages, simply restart the game and attempt to play again. However, if you continue to receive either of these error messages, there are measures you can take to reduce the chance of game crashes.
