Notifica, the jailbreak Notification Customizer Tweak is soon coming to iOS 13
It is no secret that Android is the absolute king when it comes to customization. The sheer number of different OEMs and their different takes on Android aside, the Operating system, even in its most basic form, offers far more customization than iOS.
However, for personalization-junkies on iOS, there are ways to get your tweaking juices flowing. We have talked about Jailbreak before and discussed how it is the gateway to performing tweaks on iOS that Apple just won’t allow for. We have talked about tools like Gravitation, Reprovision, Appaze, among many more.
But jailbreak is simply the door that leads to these customizations. And you need various tools to help you get the most of your jailbreak iPhone or iPad. One nifty tool that should soon be available is Notifica.
Granted, Notifica is not a new tool as it has been available on iOS in the past. It has been working very well in A7, A8, A9, A10, and even A11 Devices. Stable builds are available for iOS 11.X.X and even iOS 12.
After a long wait, there might finally be hope and Notifica could be coming to iOS 13 after all. According to the developer, he shelved the project about three months ago in frustration, but recently, he had a breakthrough and with that, Notifica for iOS 13 is on its way.
Had been working on this for quite a while, when it suddenly stopped working one day and I was unable to continue. Got incredibly drunk last night and realized why it wasn’t working 3 months ago.
So I’m back at work on this. I’ll hopefully have it out soon.
Can’t promise any solid ETA, but hopefully soon
As mentioned by the developer, there is no ETA on when we will be seeing a beta or an official release but it shouldn’t be that long. Or at least we hope.
For the uninitiated, Notifica is a jailbreak tool that allows users to make a bunch of nifty modifications to the way iOS displays notification. This tool, or at least in its previous implementations, allows users to change everything about the notification pop-ups.
It also allows users to change the shape and size of notification pop-ups, colors them differently, changes the look and feel of the notification center in general and even modifies the system’s Now Playing indicator.
This tweak is jam-packed with features and tons of modification options that might even seem intimidating to users. That said, we still don’t know the kind of tweaks that will come baked in the upcoming release but it should be good.
We shall keep an eye on this jailbreak tweak and update accordingly. Keep an eye on our dedicated jailbreak section for more.
