OnePlus 7, 7 Pro & 7T Pro Jio VoWiFi (WiFi calling) enabled with January security update

OnePlus had a blast back in 2019 as its OnePlus 7 Pro was touted as the best smartphone of the year. However, the company which is a name to reckon when it comes to pushing timely updates failed to provide updates for its devices.

But, the OEM acknowledged this issue and cited Coronavirus outbreak the reason behind the delay in the roll-out of the update.

Eventually, the new updates were finally pushed for OnePlus 7, 7 Pro and 7T Pro which bumped the security patch level to January 2020.

What is more interesting is that with the OxygenOS 10.0.4 [EU and Global] and 10.3.1 [India] for OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 and the OxygenOS 10.0.7 [EU and Global] and 10.3.1 [India] for OnePlus 7T Pro has enabled VoWiFi (WiFi calling) support for Jio users in India.

But with the latest update, all the three devices have not only been served with the January patchset but also WiFi calling has been enabled for the Jio users.
