Today, Niantic has announced the details regarding the upcoming Community Day. The upcoming Community Day will feature the fourth generation Water-type Pokemon Piplup. It is a Water-type starter Pokemon from the Sinnoh region.
Pokemon Go January Community Day 2020 is bringing a range of bonuses for players. The list of bonuses that will be awarded under Piplup Community Day includes the following: 1/4 Egg hatch distance, 3-hour Lure modules, and event-themed Field Research Tasks.
Niantic has also revealed the timings for the Community Day event. For the Northern Hemisphere, Pokemon Go January Community Day will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 11 am to 2 pm in your local time zone.
For the Southern Hemisphere, Pokemon Go January Community Day will take place on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 3 pm to 6 pm in your local time zone. Apart from this, if you are lucky, you may also encounter, Shiny Piplup. You can check the Shiny Piplup family down below.
Apart from that, Heatran is available for raids in Pokemon Go. Heatran is available as a Tier 5 Raid Boss & it will appear in Raids until February 4, 2020, at 1 pm PST. It is a Fire-Steel type Pokemon and weak against fighting, water, and ground types Pokemon.
Players can catch & encounter Heatran in the following CP ranges : 2058-2145 ( Level 20) and 2573-2681 (Level 25). The best counters of Heatran are the following: Garchomp, Groudon, Excadrill, Rhyperior, Golurk, Flygon, Rhydon, Swampert, Golem, Kyogre, Machamp.
