Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G release imminent, as official site listing goes live
If we go by the recent developments happening in the smartphone as well as the entire tech world, 5G is going to be one of the most crucial aspects of 2020.
Mainstream Android phone makers are already equipped with at least one or two devices that support 5G and the next year, many more 5G devices compatible devices are expected to arrive in the market.
After phones, Samsung is not much far behind introducing 5G is Android tablets. According to the Samsung Korea Website, a 5G version of the Galaxy Tab S6 is on the cards and has been listed in the coming soon landing page.
The landing page is of the great deals and discounts, Samsung is offering in their home country on the purchase of its various products. Started to December 20, the event will be open till March 31, 2020.
For those who are interested in the discounts, the offer is running on Galaxy Tab S6 5G (SM-T866), Galaxy Tab S6 (SM-T865/T860), Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T725/720), Galaxy Tab A (SM-T515/510) and Galaxy Tab A with S-Pen (SM-P200).
Sadly, there is no information about the specs and other details of the 5G variant of the Galaxy Tab S6. However, going by the renders in the above image, it seems that the specs might be unchanged.
To recall, the regular Galaxy Tab S6 was launched in July 2019 and packs in specs like Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6/8 GB of RAM, a 7,040 mAh battery 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display along with an 8 MP selfie shooter.
At the back, you get a dual-camera setup with 13 MP primary camera. The device offers up to 256 GB of onboard storage along with a dedicated microSD card slot. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Since this particular model is listed on the Korean website of Samsung, we will have to wait a bit to see whether the 5G tablet is going find its way outside of the country or not.
