New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

The smartphone market has come a long way, in terms of both price and features. You can now buy a decent handset for as low as $150, thanks to Xiaomi’s vigorous pricing strategy. The Beijing-based manufacturer really influenced the way OEMs put price tag on their phones.

Realme has followed the footsteps of Xiaomi to release smartphones with maximum specs to price ratio. In an attempt to capture the whole market, they were launching devices aggressively. Up until October, the Chinese brand only had offerings for budget-sensitive customers.

In the last month, Realme X2 Pro hit the Chinese market with high-end specifications. And a couple of days ago, it went official in India. For starters, it’s the company’s debut into the midrange flagship segment.

Launched with ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie, the phone packs in Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset with UFS 3.0 storage (for 128 and 256 GB variants). Now that X2 Pro entered the Indian market, more people are waiting for the vendor to release ColorOS 7 (Android 10).

Guess what! A company official has announced on Weibo that ColorOS 7 early adopter edition (Android 10 beta) recruitment is going to begin on 18 December. To recall, they already shared the update roadmap for Realme XT.

For our flagship, there is also a pre-emptive experience plan: realme X2 Pro will launch the ColorOS 7 early adopter version on December 18, when you can apply in the community. For early adopters of other models, please go to the community to vote. The official version, the engineer is fasting, thank you for your support!
