Pokemon Go : Team Go Rocket Boss Giovanni Pokemon counters

Team Go Rocket boss, Giovanni, along with Team Go Rocket leaders – Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra have finally arrived in the game. But defeating Team Go Rocket Boss is not an easy task, as Giovanni Pokémon are much stronger than regular Grunts.

So, one needs an effective strategy to counter Team Go Rocket Boss, Giovanni. But many players must be wondering how to encounter Giovanni. Well, players need a specific set of Pokemon to counter Giovanni Pokemon.

To encounter Giovanni, players need to complete Special Research “Looming in the Shadows” which has six stages. You can learn more about Looming in the Shadows Research Tasks by heading here.

Players are required to defeat all three Team Go Rocker Leaders, before encountering Giovanni. But they need six mysterious components to create a Rocket Radar which will help them locate Team Go Rocket Leaders.

Mysterious components can be obtained by defeating Team Go Rocket Grunts. After beating all Team Go Rocket leaders and completing step four of Looming in the Shadows, players will earn a Super Rocket Radar which will help the players to locate Giovanni. Mentioned below are the Pokemon that will be used by Giovanni and its best counters.
