Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why the video streaming service Hulu isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately. As of while writing this, Hulu is down and not loading videos going by reports proliferating across micro-blogging site Twitter.

As per Down detector – the service that gives information about outages – Hulu is indeed encountering issues in some regions of the US and Japan.

Hulu support is yet to give a word on the matter. Rest assured, we are keeping a continuous tab on all related developments, and will continuously update this page with relevant info. So stay hooked for latest developments on the matter.

Update 1

As per a user reports, the support is now aware of the issue. However, there’s yet to come an official statement on the matter. Here’s what the user has to say:

I contacted support and they said they didnt know it was down but are working on it now and issued me one month credit.

Update 2

One of the affected users who got in touch with Hulu support says they’ve been told the service may stay down for about four hours due to an update. Meaning, users may have to wait for few more hours for things to get back to normal.

@PiunikaWeb just got off the phone with Hulu support on hold 47 minutes they said it was down for everyone not sure if true said would be at least 4 hours for an update

Update 3

We are getting reports the issue has now been resolved.

Update 4 (Oct 07)

Of late, a lot of Hulu users across micro-blogging site Twitter are complaining about service down or throwing error p-dev322. Some complaints regarding the live stream not working can also be seen. Down detector also conveys the service is acting glitchy in some areas.

Regarding the live stream issue, here’s what Hulu support recently said:

We did experience a known issue during the game, which may have been what you were running into. We’re always working to improve our service and make it more reliable — we’ll share your feedback and experience with our team.

When asked about fix, here’s what they said:

However, there’s yet to come a word from Hulu support regarding the error p-dev322. Rest assured, we’re keeping a tab and will keep you informed about all latest developments.

Update 5 (Nov 11)

Hulu users are again reporting issues accessing the service today. Take a look at some reports:

Update 6 (April 08, 2020)

Hulu is down and not working for many as of writing this. Apart from proliferating user reports – regarding video streaming issues – on Twitter, downdetector also conveys service glitch.

Update 7 (August 07, 2021)

Many Hulu subscribers have taken to Twitter to report that they’re unable to watch videos on the platform as they are getting the error code 500 message while trying to view content.

Hulu has confirmed that they’re aware of the issue and are currently looking into it. Hence, expect the problem to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Update 8 (April 22, 2022)

09:56 am (IST): Many users have taken to Twitter to report that Hulu is down or not working for them. Forunately, the support team has acknowledged the issue and said that they are working to resolve it.

Update 9 (August 23, 2022)

12:50 pm (IST): Fresh reports on Downdetector and Twitter indicate that Hulu is currently down or not working for many.

Update 10 (August 24, 2022)

07:09 pm (IST): Reports on Downdetector now suggest that the recent outage with Hulu has been resolved.

Update 11 (September 16, 2022)

10:39 am (IST): According to multiple reports (1, 2, 3, 4), there is a current Hulu outage that prevents shows from loading or users from accessing their accounts.

There is still no official word on the issue from the Hulu team.

Update 12 (October 10, 2022)

12:20 pm (IST): Some reports on Twitter and Downdetector indicate that Hulu is currently down or not working. Luckily, the issue does not seem to be widespread.

Update 13 (October 11, 2022)

01:15 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, it appears that the recent outage has now been resolved.

Update 14 (March 10, 2023)

08:57 pm (IST): A recent outage across the entire Disney streaming platform is affecting services like Hulu, ESPN Plus and Disney Plus (1, 2).

05:42 pm (IST): All Disney streaming services, including Hulu, are now available again.

Update 15 (April 20, 2023)

09:28 am (IST): Some users have been experiencing issues like homepage not loading or error messages in the last hour (1, 2).

02:00 pm (IST): The service is already working correctly again.

Update 16 (April 24, 2023)

10:03 am (IST): Some users are now reporting (1, 2) that they are getting ‘not available in your country’ error.

Luckily, the. issue has been acknowledged and Hulu support has confirmed that they are looking into it.

Update 17 (May 31, 2023)

09:05 am (IST): Some Hulu users are currently unable to log in to the service even after changing their passwords (1, 2).

Update 18 (June 1, 2023)

02:21 pm (IST): Fresh reports (1, 2, 3, 4) suggest that some users are again facing login issues with Hulu. Luckily, the support team has acknowledged the problem and said that they are looking into it.

05:00 pm (IST): Although some days have passed, there are still reports of Hulu users facing login issues.

Update 20 (August 13, 2023)

03:25 pm (IST): Several Hulu users report that the streaming service is not working correctly when playing content (1, 2, 3).

11:26 am (IST): For the second day in a row, Hulu users are experiencing issues like pauses and cuts when trying to play content (1, 2, 3, 4).

10:35 am (IST): Hulu streaming service already seems to be working properly.

Update 23 (September 28, 2023)

10:27 am (IST): It seems that Hulu is currently down for some users as they have reported getting error messages.
