Xiaomi is a brand that is continuously upgrading and adding more devices in its portfolio. And recently, the company launched the Redmi 8 and Redmi Note 8 devices.

In terms of pushing updates, Xiaomi’s performance is decent as they upgraded quite a few devices to the latest security patch. And in a recent development, Xiaomi has ticked off two more devices in receiving the September 2019 update namely Redmi 8 and Redmi Note 8.

The latest update brings in quite a few enhancements and changes to both the devices along with the September patch. Let us take a look at each of the updates one by one.

Redmi 8

Talking about Redmi 8, it comes with a 6.22-inch display and is powered by the Snapdragon 439 processor which is paired with 3/4 GB of RAM. It offers 32/64 GB of storage and sports dual camera 12 MP+2 MP at the back.

In front, you get an 8 MP selfie camera and under the hood, it packs in 5,000 mAh battery. Moreover, the device runs on the Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 out of the box.

Coming to the update, it carries the version number V10.3.3.0.PCNINXM and is rolling out for Redmi 8 users in India. Note that the update weighs in about 459 MB in size. Below is the official changelog of the update:

Redmi Note 8

Another Redmi device that is getting the September update is Redmi Note 8. To recall, the Redmi Note 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor which is paired 3/4/6 GB of RAM and offers up to 128 GB of onboard storage.

It sports a quad-camera setup at the back with 48 MP+8 MP+2 MP+2 MP and in the front a 13 MP selfie shooter. Under the hood, the device has a 4,000 mAh battery.

Now coming to the update, it carries the version number V10.3.5.0.PCOMIXM (meant for the global variant) and weighs in around 1.8 GB in size. Below is the official changelog of the latest update:
