Fortnite Out of Time Mission: Red variants of Cosmic Cleaver Pickaxe & Pixel Pilot Glider not attainable issue being looked into
Fortnite, the golden goose of Epic Games, is on its 10th season right now. Fans are already hyped about about the inclusion of bots in the Season 11, but the game maker decided to extend the current season till the mid of October. A new landing vehicle, revamped battle pass – the list of expectations is already pretty huge.
Talking about Season 10 (often stylized as Season X), Epic added a handful of Overtime Challenges for players. Dubbed as ‘Out of Time’, there are total six challenges. A successful completion will unlock a new style of the Season 10 Battle Pass skins.
Well, there is a catch! A bunch of Fortnite players across the globe are facing a peculiar problem. After completing five mission, they are rewarded the red Pixel Pilot and Cosmic Cleavers, but those goodies are not actually accessible to them.
I completed five challenges and got gameplan and eternal voyager’s red variant, but these won’t open. Bug or do i have to finish the out of time challenges?
I’ve completed all but one Out of Time challenge and that last challenge is outlive players. When I complete the last mission do I get the red option for the Eternal Voyager’s pickaxe and glider?
Due to the enormous amount of bug reports, Epic Games quickly issued the following statement in the r/FortNiteBR subreddit:
Thanks for the report! We’re working on a fix to grant the harvesting tool and glider variant to everyone who unlocked the red outfit style.
A few minutes ago, Fortnite acknowledged the existence of the glitch via their official Twitter handle. They are currently investigating the situation, albeit there is no ETA given for the fix to roll out.
We’re investigating reports of the Out of Time Mission not granting the red style variants for the Cosmic Cleaver Pickaxe and Pixel Pilot Glider.
