Oppo launched the flagship Reno 10x Zoom smartphone back in June this year. It made headlines due to the superior zooming capability of the device that offers 10X (5X Optical) zoom. However, you can zoom in up to 60X zoom.

Oppo is one of the Chinese brands that collectively hold a firm grip on the Indian mid-range segment. Moreover, the company offers several devices ranging from budget to the flagship category.

However, the company is not known much for the speedy and timely delivery of the updates to its devices. From time to time we’ve we have reported which Oppo Reno phones will be the ones to get the Android 10 updates.

Now in a recent development, the OEM has pushed the September security updates for the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom devices. The update not only brings in the security patch but also brings in Digital Health & Parental control function. Also, the update finally fixes the camera stutter issue on the device.

For specs buffs, the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset which is paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The device sports a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a shark fin camera module that houses a 16MP camera.

At the back, the device has a triple 48MP+13MP+8MP camera setup. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner and has a battery capacity of 4065 mAh that supports VOOC fast charging 20W. Out of the box, it runs on Color OS 6 based on the Android 9 Pie.

The latest update carries the version number CPH1919EX_11_A.13 and weighs in around 605MB. So, we would recommend you to use a stable mobile data or WiFi connection for downloading the update. Below the official update changelog followed by a user shared image of the same.
