Pokemon Masters was released on August 29, and the game has already crossed 10 million downloads. Pokemon Masters has distinctive gameplay, and it features a 3v3 battle. In the game, players can fight alongside popular trainers, including Brock and Misty. Players can also level up Pokemon, with the help of items that can be gained by the completion of tasks and chapters.

In Pokemon Masters, players take part in the Pokemon Master League by making their way through the Pasio region chapters. Players can complete various missions during their journey, and the completion of missions rewards players with items and gems.

Pokemon Masters features more than 60 Sync pairs, and players can unlock new sync pairs by completing the chapters. Players can also use powerful sync moves after a certain charge up. Sync moves deal heavy damage to opponents team Pokemon. Pokemon Masters mainly features three modes: Main Story, Events, or Sync Pair stories. For a quick refresher, Pokemon Masters update 1.2.0 added a feature that allowed players to check stat changes to each of their sync pairs as they are equipping them with gear. After the update, 1.2.0 players are also able to exchange multiple items at once.

Pokemon Masters is available on both Android and iOS. The concept for the game came from series artist and designer Ken Sugimori who suggested to have all past characters from the series in one game. The game has already generated more than $26 million in just two months. It will be interesting to see how long the game survives in the competitive mobile gaming market.
