Pokemon Go : Shiny Oddish released globally under Taipei City Safari Zone event
Pokemon Go players can rejoice as Shiny Oddish has made its entry into the game for the very first time. This global release of Shiny Oddish is done to mark the celebration of Taipei City Safari Zone 2019 which is currently live.
The event started on October 3, 2019, and will stay live until October 5. The timings for the event are the following: 10 am to 5 pm. Pokemon Go Taipei City Safari Zone is taking place at Metropolitan Park in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The best part of the event is that there are no tickets required to attend it.
During the event, Bug, Water & Grass-type Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild for attendees. The following Pokemon will appear in the wild : Oddish, Heracross, Azumarill, Butterfree, Scyther, and Unown. Also, Shiny Oddish has been released globally under the event. Also, the Pokemon Go Stardust Blast event for 2019 is currently live in the game. The event has already started and will stay live until October 10, 2019, at 1 p.m. PDT. Pokemon Go Stardust Blast event also features a variety of bonuses for players.
The list of bonuses that are available under this event includes the following: Double Stardust for hatching Pokemon, Double Stardust for Catching Pokemon, Double Stardust in Team Go Rocket Battles and Guaranteed 2,000 Stardust from raids. For information regarding the event, kindly head here.
For a quick refresher, Niantic added generation 5 Pokemon to the game on September 16 under the third week of the Ultra Bonus event. However, Niantic has only released a few Pokemon from the Unova Region yet. A Sinnoh Stone has also been added to the game which can be used by players to evolve specific Unova region Pokemon.

Mewtwo is also returning to raids on October 8, 2019. Mewtwo will appear as a Tier 5 Raid Boss. Earlier, Mewtwo legendary Raid Hour was scheduled to take place on September 18, 2019. But due to some technical issues, it could not take place.
