Many Pokemon Go players with Xiaomi phones have got banned in the last couple of days. Frustrated Xiaomi owners took the route of Twitter & Reddit to express their concerns to Niantic. You can get more info regarding the issue by heading here.

Well, Niantic has finally heard their voices and addressed the issue. In an official tweet, Niantic Support has confirmed that the Xiaomi Gameturbo feature is conflicting with Pokemon Go & resulting in a ban. Have a look at Niantic Support’s official tweet down below.

Speaking of the issue, it came to light when numerous PoGo players with Xiaomi phones confirmed that they were getting shadow banned for no reason. Many players also received 30 days ban, and some player’s accounts got suspended.

While analyzing these bans, players found that the Xiaomi Gameboost feature is somewhere conflicting with Pokemon Go TOI’s which was resulting in a ban. Well, now Niantic is currently investigating the issue & we hope a fix for this issue will arrive soon.

In today’s tweet, Niantic has shared silhouettes of three unknown characters which players are assuming as Team Go Rocket bosses. Some players also believe that Pokemon Go will have three new evil teams similar to good teams (Team Mystic, Team Valor, and Team Instinct).

Well, we should only take these assumptions with a grain of salt. We should wait for Niantic to unravel the truth of these cryptic images. Earlier, the addition of ‘Team Go Rocket’ to the game was appreciated by the PoGo community.

Team Go Rocket invaded Pokestops present on the overworld map. Players were required to defeat Team Go grunts and save the Shadow Pokemon. Team Go Rocket Grunts had three Pokemon of the same type, but their Pokemon had an evil aura.

Speaking of Shadow Pokemon, they have an evil aura that can be purified with the process called Purification. Purification of Shadow Pokemon requires a certain amount of Stardust and candies. Each Purified Pokemon has a minimum Level 25 & learns a new move ‘normal’.
