Counterpoint ranks Apple Airpods as top wireless earphones in the US
Who doesn’t like headphones/earphones/headsets? After all, they’re an integral part of our daily smartphone life. Have you ever used a pair of wired hearable? The real challenging task is carrying around a pair of wired earphones casually in your bags or pockets.
What happens when you take them out? I think we are no alien to the end result. Those bad boys are usable only after a successful struggle that we have to go through, only to untangle them.
Thankfully, we are no longer in the 90’s. Wired hearables are a chapter of the past now. Although they are still in use but wireless, headphones/headsets/earphones are the future. Many companies have manufactured varieties of wireless hearables that are easily available in the market.

Counterpoint recently conducted a Consumer Lens survey. According to the survey, Apple Airpods turn out to be the user favorite at least in the US. Factors namely sound quality, build quality, size, shape, comfort, ease of transportation plays a decisive role to be an absolute hit in the market.
As can be seen in the image above, Apple Airpods grab 57% of user preference, followed by Bose with 39%. Samsung gets the third position with 33%, with Sony and Beats next. It’s worth mentioning this survey by Counterpoint is based on only 200 consume. So the results may vary on a larger scale.
The survey also confirmed that three out of five consumers already have a pair of headphones or earphones in the US. Almost 40% of the people taking part in the survey are willing to buy a pair of wireless earphone/headphone next year, and nearly 50% respondents received there wireless hearables last year.
For business startup that are in search of ideas, wireless headphones/earphones/headphones would be a safe bet, as it is the future.
