[Update: Dec 20] Shaw internet down or WiFi not working? You aren't alone

Is the broadband internet service Shaw down and not working or are you facing WiFi issues? Please be informed that the service is seemingly going through an outage in some regions.

A quick look at Down detector – the service that gives a realtime overview of outages and other issues – reflects Shaw is encountering a glitch as can be seen in the live outage map below:

Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, well, it’s yet to come. But be informed, we’re keeping a continuous tab on the service’s social media and other official channels for more information.

IST 10:35 am: Social media and community forums are now spewed with reports from Shaw subscribers who note that the cable and TV service is down and not working for them.

@ShawInfo Shaw cable I’m so sick of constant cable outages. Really I pay $100 bucks a month for almost daily outages lately. Not acceptable! And yes I reset my box, hdmi and modem. It’s still giving me three dots like it’s thinking!!
