Another day, another service outage alert incoming!

Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Natwest bankline isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

Similar reports can be seen posted across the micro-blogging site Twitter. Here are some reports for you to take a quick glance at.

A quick look at down detector – the service that gives information about outages – NatWest is indeed encountering issues in some regions of the UK as can be seen in the live outage map below:

What’s good is that @NatWestBusiness has officially acknowledged the issue and confirmed the concerned team is looking into the matter. However, there’s no ETA for the fix as yet. Here’s what they said while reverting back to a complainant:

At the moment we do not have a time frame however our technical team are working on this as we speak and are working hard to restore it as soon as possible.

So there you go. It’s appeasing that the issue has atleast been officially confirmed. We are keeping a continuous tab on all related developments, and will continuously update this page with relevant info.

What’s good is that Natwest has acknowledged the issue, and are looking into it.

We’re aware of some issues with our Mobile service and are working hard to fix them. I’m very sorry and thank you for your patience.

Update 2 (Oct. 11, 2019)

Royal Bank or RBS app is down as well, and the company’s investigating.

Hi there, we’re aware of some issues on our mobile service however you should now be able to access the service, sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

Update 3 (Nov. 15, 2019)

As per the latest user reports, on accessing the website, all they get to see is a notification stating “RBS HTTP Error 502.” What’s good is that @NatWest_help says they’re looking into that matter.

Update 4 (Nov. 15, 2019)

After RBS HTTP Error 502, some NatWest users are now facing login-related issues. Here are some of the reports:

While reverting back to a complainant, @NatWest_help recently addressed the issue saying:

we are aware of issues on the site this morning, the team are working hard to get this fixed. Do you log in with a customer number for your Business Account? If so can you type http://nwolb.com straight into your address bar

Update 5 (Dec 20, 2019)

Natwest bankline is down right now and users are facing login issues. What’s good is that the issue has been officially acknowledged by @NatWestBusiness saying:

We’re aware that some customers are currently unable to log into Bankline. We’re currently investigating the issue and hope to be up and running again soon

Along with that, the issue with using NatWest credit card on the app is also being looked into.

We are aware some customers are unable to view their credit cards online. This is being investigated.

Update 6 (July 23, 2021)

Reports on Twitter convey Natwest Bankline is down and not working for some.

Update 7 (August 20, 2021)

Sky Broadband customers have been facing an outage of services from NatWest including Mobile banking and online banking services. Now NatWest is pointing a finger at the Sky Broadband outage as the cause of these issues.

Update 8 (December 02, 2021)

01:56 pm (IST): NatWest customers are once again facing issues with the mobile banking app and website as they’re getting a ‘Something went wrong’ notice while trying to access the service. Many have taken to Twitter to report (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) the issue but there’s no official response yet.

02:18 pm (IST): NatWest support has confirmed that they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. Unfortunately, there’s no ETA for the fix.

We are aware of an ongoing issue this morning and are working to fix this as quickly as possible. (Source)

05:59 pm (IST): The outage has been resolved according to a fresh tweet from the bank’s support team.

Hi there, some customers have experienced issues with the mobile app and online banking service this morning. Our tech team have investigated this and all issues should be resolved. (Source)

Update 9 (August 8, 2023)

01:56 pm (IST): There seems to be a problem with ‘MyRewards’ as users (1,2,3) are receiving emails saying that they’ve traded up rewards for Argos e-gift card, when they didn’t. Fortunately, NatWest is aware of this:

Hi Ann. Some customers have seen issues with MyRewards including receiving emails. These emails have been sent in error and are not reflective of individual Rewards accounts. This is being investigated urgently. – Emily

02:51 pm (IST): This issue has now been resolved.
