Apex Legends: Why is Crypto so obsessed with Singh Labs?
Respawn Entertainment has left no stone unturned in teasing their next character Crypto from Apex Legends. First, there was the announcer voice glitch and the banner glitch which happened after the decryption process got completed. And now Crypto has made his appearance in the game itself!
If you didn’t pay attention to the voidwalker event cinematic, Wraith used a USB stick to hack into the Singh Labs’ computer to get details on the scientist who was responsible for her suffering. At that moment, the computer peripheral shows up Crypto’s Logo. This meant that Wraith was helped by Crypto.
And we also got some lore from the Singh labs in the event, and now finally we get to see Crypto and his drone in the game. Remember that sneaky place in the labs where we found that laptop with the recording on it? Jump down the portal and smash through the gates and you will find Crypto hacking with his back towards the glass window.
We also see his drone flying and keeping an eye out for any trespassers, and the drone seems to give a warning to Crypto, and after you see him, he will run off a side exit. Take a look at a Reddit post here –
What is Crypto trying to achieve? What is he hacking into? Well, there can be a lot of possibilities, but the most important of all is, why is Crypto so interested in Singh Labs?
Well, the connection between Wraith and Crypto seems to be the reason why Crypto is so interested in Singh Labs. Maybe he is trying to shut that giant portal off in Apex Legends because as we know the phase shift tech allows users to hop dimensions and he may be trying to prevent any kind of threats which may appear through that giant portal.
But we will have to wait and see the reason behind Crypto being so interested in Singh Labs and his connection with Wraith once the Season 3 promo launches.
